The Opportunity
BCP's Windcrest portfolio land acquisition consists of two (2) non-contiguous tracts (one retail pad, one industrial site) off of Eisenhauer Rd in the municipality of Windcrest. The industrial site sale hinged on the removal of an outdated restrictive covenant. By executing an extensive neighborhood outreach campaign, BCP successfully garnered a majority of neighborhood signatures to remove the incompatible land use restriction. Upon the vacation of the covenant, the industrial land site immediately sold to a best-in-class national industrial developer. The retail pad sold to Burger Boy, a locally owned San Antonio favorite.
